Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-25

1. What this is

Atlas is a personal finance application operated for the personal use of a single owner. Access is gated by a per-user allowlist; if you can sign in, you are an authorised user.

2. Acceptable use

You may use Atlas to record and analyse your own financial information. You may not attempt to access another user's data, interfere with the service, or use the application in violation of applicable law.

3. Financial information disclaimer

Atlas is a record-keeping tool. It is not a financial advisor, tax advisor, accountant, or broker. Nothing displayed in the application should be construed as financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on data shown in Atlas are your own.

4. Bank connections

Bank account connections are facilitated by a third-party aggregator. Your bank credentials are never sent to or stored by Atlas; the aggregator handles the bank-side OAuth flow directly. Atlas stores only the refresh token issued by the aggregator, and that token is encrypted at rest. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling description.

5. Availability

Atlas is provided as-is. There is no uptime SLA. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or operator-initiated downtime can interrupt service without notice.

6. Termination and data deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Deletion follows the procedure described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be surfaced in-app on next sign-in.

8. Contact

The data controller for this deployment is the operator. Contact details are listed in the Privacy Policy.
